Paradise Valley is a narrow gorge in the foothills of the High Atlas, north-east of Agadir, where a river has carved smooth rock pools between cliffs and palm trees. It is the most popular nature escape from Agadir, and visiting privately makes a real difference: you leave when you want, you choose how long to stay at the pools, and you avoid waiting for other passengers.
Your driver picks you up at your accommodation and follows the winding road up the Tamraght valley, with stops for photos of the palm groves and terraced hillsides. From the parking area, a gentle walk of roughly 20–30 minutes each way leads down to the pools, where you can relax, have a drink at one of the small cafés or swim when the water level allows.
Pickup from your hotel, riad or rental in Agadir, Taghazout, Tamraght or Aourir. The pickup time is agreed with you when you book; a morning start is recommended to enjoy the pools before the busiest hours.
This is a private tour: the vehicle, the driver and any guide are reserved for you and the people travelling with you. You will never be combined with other travellers, and the pace, stops and timings can be adjusted to suit you.
This is a relaxed outing rather than a hike. The walk to the pools is short and mostly easy, with a few uneven rocky sections. Allow two to three hours on site to walk, swim and enjoy a mint tea before heading back down to the coast.

Your private driver meets you at your accommodation in the Agadir area.
The road leaves the coast at Aourir and climbs along the Tamraght river, through palm groves, argan trees and Berber villages. Stop for photos whenever you like.
A short walk leads to the rock pools of Paradise Valley. Swim, relax on the rocks or sit at one of the small cafés overlooking the gorge.
Return to your accommodation in the early afternoon, or later if you started in the afternoon.
Paradise Valley is in the Ida Outanane area north-east of Agadir. The drive usually takes about one hour each way depending on traffic and your exact pickup point.
Yes, when there is enough water in the pools, which is most often the case between winter and late spring. In late summer the pools can be much lower. Swimming is unsupervised and at your own risk.
No. The path is short and suitable for most people with reasonable mobility, but it is rocky in places, so trainers or walking sandals are better than flip-flops.
