Agadir was almost entirely rebuilt after the 1960 earthquake, which makes it different from other Moroccan cities: a modern resort with a long sandy bay, overlooked by the hill of the old kasbah. A private city tour is the easiest way to understand its history and to see its highlights in a morning or afternoon.
The tour starts at the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella, on the hill above the port, for the best panorama of the bay. You then visit Souk El Had, a vast walled market with thousands of stalls, and finish along the marina and the beach promenade. Other stops can be added on request, such as the Medina of Coco Polizzi or the Mémoire d’Agadir museum.
