Marrakech, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, is about 250 km from Agadir by the A7 motorway. A private day trip is a long day, but it is the most comfortable way to see the city without changing hotels: your driver takes you there in the morning, waits for you, and brings you back in the evening.
The medina of Marrakech is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In one day you can see the Koutoubia minaret, wander the souks, visit one or two monuments such as the Bahia Palace or the Saadian Tombs, and stay for the early evening atmosphere on Jemaa el-Fna square.
Early pickup from your accommodation in Agadir (usually around 7:00). Return late in the evening.
This is a private tour: the vehicle, the driver and any guide are reserved for you and the people travelling with you. You will never be combined with other travellers, and the pace, stops and timings can be adjusted to suit you.
You will have around six hours in Marrakech. We recommend combining a guided walk of the medina with free time on Jemaa el-Fna. The exact programme is agreed with you in advance so you can prioritise what matters most to you.
Drive north-east on the A7 motorway across the High Atlas foothills, with a coffee stop on the way.
Start at the Koutoubia, then explore the souks on foot.
Visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs or a museum, depending on your interests.
Enjoy the square as it fills with stalls and performers.
Drive back to your accommodation.
