You do not have to travel to the Sahara to see sand dunes. North of Agadir, beyond the banana village of Tamri, the wind has piled up fields of golden coastal dunes near Timlalin, close to the ocean. This private half-day trip takes you there in a 4×4 or SUV for sandboarding, a short walk in a small canyon nearby and, if you choose an afternoon departure, the sunset over the dunes.
It is a fun, active outing for families and friends, and a good alternative for travellers who do not have time for a multi-day desert trip.
Pickup from your accommodation in the Agadir area. Morning or afternoon departure; the afternoon option lets you stay for sunset.
This is a private tour: the vehicle, the driver and any guide are reserved for you and the people travelling with you. You will never be combined with other travellers, and the pace, stops and timings can be adjusted to suit you.
An active half day with around two hours on site, including climbing the dunes on foot and sliding down on a board. The canyon walk is short and easy.
