The Bridal Veil waterfall at Imouzzer Ida Outanane

Private Imouzzer Waterfalls & Paradise Valley Day Trip

  • Approx. 8 hours
  • Private tour – your group only
  • Pickup: Agadir, Taghazout or Tamraght
  • Mountain roads, easy walks

Imouzzer Ida Outanane is a mountain village set at around 1,200 m in the western High Atlas, about an hour and a half from Agadir. It is known for its cascades, locally called the Bridal Veil, for its honey and for the terraced fields and olive groves that surround it. This private day trip combines the waterfalls with a stop in Paradise Valley, which lies on the same road.

Travelling privately means you can linger at the viewpoints, take a longer walk, or skip a stop altogether. Your driver adapts the day to you, whether you are a couple, a family with children or a small group of friends.

Pickup & Drop-off

Pickup from your accommodation in Agadir, Taghazout, Tamraght or Aourir, usually between 8:00 and 9:00. Return to the same place in the late afternoon.

100% Private

This is a private tour: the vehicle, the driver and any guide are reserved for you and the people travelling with you. You will never be combined with other travellers, and the pace, stops and timings can be adjusted to suit you.

Good to Know

  • The waterfalls are seasonal: they flow best after the winter rains and can be reduced to a trickle in late summer or after a dry year
  • The road to Imouzzer is winding; tell us if anyone is prone to car sickness
  • Wear shoes suitable for rocky paths
  • Bring a light jacket: it is cooler in the mountains than on the coast
What to Expect

Expect a relaxed full day in the mountains with several short walks rather than one long hike. Lunch is usually taken in a simple local restaurant in Imouzzer or in Paradise Valley; your driver can recommend places but meals are paid directly.

  • Imouzzer Ida Outanane and the Bridal Veil cascades
  • Rock pools and palm groves of Paradise Valley
  • Argan forests, olive groves and Berber villages
  • A full day at your own pace with a private driver

Usually from late winter to spring, after the rains. In summer and autumn the flow can be very low, so we recommend checking with us before booking if the waterfall is the main reason for your trip.

How long is the drive from Agadir to Imouzzer?

Allow around one and a half hours each way on a winding mountain road, plus stops.

Is this trip suitable for children?

Yes. The walks are short. Let us know the ages of the children when you send your request.

Can we add Paradise Valley swimming time?

Yes. As the tour is private, you decide how long you spend at each stop.
